Liposculpt: a Non-surgical Alternative to Liposuction
Liposculpt is a natural, non-surgical treatment protocol offered by Dr. Efaw and Priscilla using a fat-burning injection technique called mesotherapy. Liposculpt is not considered a weight loss program; however, the treatment can spot reduce cellulite and fat that diet, exercise, HGG and even surgery can not help.
Liposculpt uses pharmaceutically-compounded substances that are injected into the dermal layer of skin, where fat and cellulite accumulate. Injected substances include vitamins, antioxidants, phosphatidycholine or hyaluronic acid and are FDA approved. The injection destroys the fat cells and transports the cells through the lymphatic system where they are naturally eliminated from the body.
Generally, the average patient requires approximately 2-4 treatments for treating fat; however this will depend on the individual patient and the amount of fat to be treated. Treatments are done several weeks apart. A session typically lasts about thirty minutes and can even be scheduled during your lunch hour. You may experience tenderness, swelling, bruising or redness for a few days after your session.
Results vary depending on body type and the condition being treated. On average, patients start noticing visible improvement from any particular treatment session about 2-6 weeks after that treatment. However, in some patients, it is not unusual to see the end result 12 weeks after the treatment.

Sclerotherapy: Effective Treatment for Spider and Varicose Veins
Dr. Efaw or Priscilla can help treat spider veins and varicose veins through a procedure called sclerotherapy, which involves the injection of a prescription medicine called polidocanol.
Polidocanol is a sclerosing agent that is injected into the vein. It works by damaging the endothelium, which are the cells lining the inside of blood vessels. This causes blood platelets to attach to the lining of the vessels; eventually, cellular debris and platelets cause the blood vessel to clot. Over time, the clotted vein will be replaced with tissue. Blood circulation is carried out through healthy veins located deeper within the body, so the outward appearance and sometimes pain associated with the problem veins is significantly reduced.
