Lora Fulp Efaw, M.D., FAAFP, Board Certified in Integrative Medicine

Dr. Lora Fulp Efaw is a board-certified family physician who provides primary care and integrative medicine for family members of all ages.  Services include management of chronic diseases; routine gynecology; complete physical exams; the ordering and interpreting of tests; and, health and wellness education.  Dr. Efaw also specializes in nutritional medicine, preventive care and weight loss.  She offers unique therapies and procedures such as chelation therapy, hormone balance treatment, vitamin C therapy, liposculpt and mesotherapy. 

A South Georgia native, Dr. Efaw earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed a residency in family medicine at Naval Hospital Jacksonville.  After training, Dr. Efaw served as an officer and family physician at Naval Air Station Key West.  She returned to South Georgia and practiced with Family Practice Associates in Tifton and the HealthPlus clinic in Ashburn before starting her own practice in 2002. Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Efaw is a member of the Tift Regional Medical Center Medical Staff and is associated with numerous professional organizations, including the American College for Advancement in Medicine.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also Board Certified in Integrative Medicine for homeopathic and natural medicine.

Tessamy Goodwin MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Tessamy Goodwin grew up in a farm community in West Berrien near Brookfield, Georgia. She attended Abraham Baldwin College, receiving an Associate of Science degree in 1992 and an Associate in Nursing degree in 1994. She previously worked in both Pediatrics and on the Medical floor of Tift Regional Hospital. She worked with the Tift County Health Department and South Georgia Behavioral Health Services. For the last 12 years, she has worked for Phoebe Home Health. Tessamy is very knowledgeable in women’s health. She helped to start and oversee the Teen Clinic for the Tift County Health Department.  

She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018 from South University in Savannah. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 

She has lived in Tift County for 24 years. She is married with two children ages 8 and 21. She enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling with her family.
